NEW PHOTOS IN THE WAVERLEY GARDEN

A new exhibit of photos is up in the Waverley Garden and on the “Waverley (Side)Walk”.   These are context-winning photos from the Palo Alto Camera Club’s Annual Competition, and the February Competition, and will be hanging for about two months.   Come take a look!   The Club heartily thanks the Church for working together on this.

The previous exhibit of photos in the Garden and on the Walk — from the photography students of Palo Alto High School — have been returned to the students’ instructor, Kenna Gallagher, for redistribution to the students.  The students, parents, and even grandparents, have come by to see the exhibit; most students have never seen their work printed at this large size.   Kenna and the Church are planning a second exhibit at the end of the school year, planned in May.   The concept is to do two exhibits/year, December and May.

The Garden is now open seven days/week, using volunteers (from the Camera Club and the Church) to open and close the gate on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This is the first winter we have been using the Garden for this purpose, and winter wind is particularly challenging in the Garden.   If you ever see a damaged or missing photo, please let John Sack know.
