Are you able to reliably arrive 15 minutes before the main Sunday service, and to extend a warm welcome to members plus a good first impression to visitors? If so, please consider the Ushers and Greeters ministry. Contact The Rev. Sherridan Harrison
Teams of greeters welcome all of us, old-time parishioners and first-time visitors alike, and we use our name tags consistently. Our indisputable Greeter in Chief is our 90+-year-old parishioner, Mabel Herring. We seek to emulate Mabel, who each Sunday shows enthusiasm, welcoming hospitality and genuine joy at the presence of each of us, whether we have been coming for years or just walked onto our campus for the first time. Mabel can learn the story of any of our newcomers within minutes, and we all strive to welcome each other in the same manner.
